Chair of the Fiscal Council Raul Eamets is standing to become Rector of the University of Tartu. The elections will be held on 20 April.

Raul Eamets will step back from his role as Chair of the Fiscal Council during the month preceding the election, and will not represent the Fiscal Council publicly in order to avoid any possible conflict of interests. The statutes of the Fiscal Council decree that in the absence of the Chair, the Vice-chair will act as replacement.
